Coaching is a powerful tool for advancing your development and growth. It is often employed to address skills-based requirements in a specific context. One example being new managers who need to generate more effective people skills such as increasing their ability to establish and maintaining rapport with their subordinates and their superiors, or, a second example, managers moving into leadership roles needing to inspire others and delegate effectively.
Alternatively coaching is used very effectively for individuals who are making significant decisions e.g. about their direction in life, career change, relationships, health etc.
I have worked with several individuals who have taken the plunge and started their own businesses. I support the decision-making process and learning, helping them develop their own strategies and solutions. They then can apply their new approaches in many different contexts.
